OK, so it is not the BIG reveal as there are decisions I need y'alls help to make. I got my patio furniture... and opted for comfort before style by getting those with the swivel thingies for feet. The option on the cushions was either this mustard color or a turquoise blue that was a little overbearing. So I'm thinking I need pillows. The ones in the pic are from my previous home... but I'm trying to get away from the reds.
The patio can be easily seen from both these rooms, so I wanted to extend the same color scheme:
breakfast room
living room - ignore the fugly sofa, it's not going anywhere
So, even though I generaly dislike the quality of their products, I don't mind spending $25 per pillow for outside fabric pillows at Pottery Barn. I found this little collection that I quite like. Even though I don't live by the sea (we have a one hour drive to Galveston), I do live by water (it is only a golf course lake off my backyard). And it is almost Summer... What do you guys think of these pillows?
I think that this would be an excellent opportunity for me to add some trendy items to the space. But I'm not a fan of IKAT, and I can't seem to find one of those geometric pillows with outside fabric. Do you all have any ideas?
Restoration Hardware had this one, but I'm not sure the print will read well in my patio. I am totally open for ideas you guys... Also, do you all color flow your rooms even when one of them is outside?

Last week, Nelya from "Head Over Heels" featured this company and their super-cheap pillows:

TONS of colors and patterns!
Thanks Hope Chella for stopping by.
Raina, I'm heading over there to ck it ou. Thanks for reminding me.
Okay, can I tell you how much I adore every single thing about your home so far?? LOVING it all! If you want to get rid of those reddish pillows, send them to me! lol. Still have a lot of reds in the home, but neutral patio furniture. I love the starfish, (Texas star perhaps?) pillows best, but will look around. If I see some you HAVE to have, I'll send pictures! The patio set is really perfect...comfy, warm and inviting.
OK, first off, I have a total love of bee hives, so I am obsessed with that one, in your lovely house. Now, yes to the color flow of outside to inside and I like the star and the horsefish best! Post whatever you decide to go with!
Hi Kelly, thanks girl. You don't want those pillows... getting a little musty from being outside for several months now piled up in a corner waiting for furniture to arrive. The starfish are fab!! :)
The Zhush, when I saw the beehive at a little shop in Tulsa I HAD to have it. I love the horsefish too!!! If I go this route I think I might get them all different, but from the same collection.
Catherine - I love your patio furniture; I don't think you could go wrong with any of those pillows. The ones from Restoration Hardware are very classic and the others are very whimsical. I think if you can see the patio from the rooms indoor then the colors should flow; that should be your guide when selecting the pillows.
Sandra
Thanks Sandra. You put it very sunccinctly. My reasonable self says go classic. But I wanted to try something different. I wish I like IKATs, because that way I could be in on the trend.
OK, so I can't spell succinctly. There.
Everything in your house is SO pretty. Just my taste! I lov ethe bee skep---what a great find! Happy Easter.
Hi Tracy, thank you. That's the funny thing about personal taste. All sorts of different styles makes it so much more interesting than if every one of us liked the same stuff.
i'm actually digging the red pillows with the gold, but i understand the desire for something new.
comfort over style, huh? your probably wiser than me!
ps- i think the outside should coordinate with the inside, but you also could introduce new colors!
Your patio furniture seems comfortable and also stylish. I would have probably chosen the same for my own home. I love the breakfast room as well. You have great taste! Love your post.
What lovely furniture you have! I LOVE the patio! I imagine you sitting there with your friends & family and a glass of wine ;)!
WOW!!! Looove the furniture and looove the ocean-themed pillows! Especially the Seahorse one!
Also, Pottery Barn has their BIG number pillows on sale right now (internet). I know, because I just ordered a No.1 and a No.2. : ) Good luck with your search.

Just popped onto your lovely home ... or blog!! Love your cushions! One can never ever have enough of them...
Have a happy Easter weekend!
um, your rooms are gorgeous. i certainly can be of no help in the pillow dep't (it would be like a 2 year old telling an interior designer how to decorate - ha!)... although i love the ones from pottery barn - i think they look spectacular.
OneCraftyFox - thanks darling.
Donald - don't be shy and feel free to critique my plant choices... I'm still trying to figure out Gumbo Soil.
Pattie - you are such a trendsetter!
Saskia - welcome and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I'll come visit you in a minute.
Hi Carissa, I'm thinking I'll drag myself and the little one over to PB tomorrow morning to ck those out. It will give me an excuse to go Easter clothes shopping for the little guy as well.
Gorgeous patio set! I love the starfish pillow-- it would look so perfect with the color of the cushions, but also bring in a hint of the blue from your other rooms. -- Jess
What is this beautiful blog I just landed on?
I am loving your new patio set, and the cushion color is beatiful!
Off to read some of your past posts.

Hi Jess, thanks for stopping by. I love your blog. :)
Londen, you are the sweetest. I hope my blog did not disappoint. Will be visiting yours soon.
This is super pretty. You have great taste!
Thank you for following me, following you now. Good luck for my give away. :)
Gros bisous

Looks great and I think any of those pillows would be a good choice. I do however love that starfish!
It looks so inviting ~ did I miss where you purchased the set? I'm looking for something new for our patio this year. Great pillow options ~ living near the ocean I've dedicated one room to more of a beach theme.
Jo
Alright you all... the cute seahorse and starfish pillows are miniscule. I just got home from a little shopping spree... I brought home everything but the pillows. Back to square one.
I like how you handle the colors. As being a synesthesian artist I live a life in colors. Synesthesia means that I see colors when I see words and numbers.I transform this in paintings of names and birthdays.
Jo, I got those at a local shop called Chair King, which has an unsightly website. They are here in and around Houston TX.
Artist - thanks for stopping by, cool site.
Frenchy - keeping my fingers crossed. Big kiss to you!
I love the sea creatures pillows. I'm working on a sea creature ring now!
